KoreaBio to host ‘BIX 2025’ this October to showcase innovation and future strategies in the biotechnology 바카라

[by Kang, In Hyo] Organized by RX Korea under the auspices of the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization (KoreaBio), ‘Bioplus-Interphex Korea 2025 (hereinafter referred to as BIX 2025)’ is scheduled to take place over three days, from October 15 to 17, at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
According to KoreaBio on July 16, BIX, now in its 6th year, is recognized as the largest global biotechnology and pharmaceutical convention held in Korea and serves as a comprehensive business platform. The event brings together leading companies and industry experts from across the sector. Last year’s edition drew a record-breaking attendance of approximately 11,000 participants, and this year’s event is projected to surpass that figure, with more than 12,000 visitors expected.
BIX 2025 aspires to position itself as the most practical biotechnology platform by bridging technology and industry under the main theme, ‘World’s Most Tangible Bio-healthcare Convention.’ The event is anticipated to serve as a venue for exchange, drawing a diverse array of participants, including industry leaders, field practitioners, investors, and the general public, to engage in discussions on the current landscape of the industry and to explore strategic directions and collaborative opportunities.
The theme of this year’s BIX conference, ‘Innovation Blooms No Matter What,’ reflects a commitment to pursuing new opportunities for innovation amid the challenges posed by the rapidly evolving domestic and global biopharmaceutical industry landscape. The conference will feature approximately 20 specialized sessions and 16 corporate insight sessions, including keynote speeches, centered on core industry topics such as policy and regulatory developments, latest technologies, and investment and accounting issues. In addition, a wide range of timely subjects aligned with current industry trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), anti-aging, digital healthcare, and New-Co, will be explored in depth.
A diverse array of side events will also be held alongside the main program. In addition to official events such as open innovation sessions, partnering opportunities with domestic and international investors, networking receptions, and docent-guided programs, the agenda will include job mentoring sessions in the 바카라pharmaceutical sector as well as export consultation meetings organized in collaboration with KOTRA.
The flagship program of BIX, the ‘Exhibition,’ will be significantly expanded this year. Approximately 250 companies and organizations covering all areas of the biotechnology industry, including digital healthcare, clinical and non-clinical consulting, bio R&D, facilities and processes, materials, components and equipment, cold chain logistics, and experimental and analytical instrumentation, are set to operate a total of 490 booths. This expansion is designed to foster tangible partnering and business development opportunities. Additionally, a briefing session for participating companies will be held on July 17, offering practical guidance on exhibition strategies, on-site operations, and promotional activities.
The introduction of a ‘customized pass’ system tailored to the purpose of each visitor’s participation is another notable feature of the event. BIX 2025 will offer four distinct types of passes, each designed to reflect the diverse needs of professionals across various sectors and occupations. This approach enables attendees to engage with the convention in a manner that aligns most closely with their specific interests and objectives.
The four-pass system includes the ‘All-Inclusive Pass,’ which grants access to exhibitions, conferences, and VIP networking events, the ‘EE Pass,’ designed specifically for facilitating business meetings with participating companies, the ‘Standard Pass,’ which offers access to the latest technologies and industry insights, and the ‘Entry Pass,’ intended for visitors seeking to explore overall industry trends through a general tour of the event.
