Twelve exhibiting companies secure KRW 28.4 billion in cumulative export deals with active support for Korean 바카라사이트 유니벳 device expansion into Europe
[by Jin, Yu Jeong] KMEDIhub (Daegu-Gyeongbuk 바카라사이트 유니벳 Cluster) announced on December 1 that it supported the overseas market expansion efforts of 12 Korean 바카라사이트 유니벳 device companies at MEDICA 2025, an international 바카라사이트 유니벳 device exhibition held in Germany.
KMEDIhub participated in the MEDICA exhibition for three days from November 17 to 20, operating the ‘KMEDIhub Joint Pavilion’ (hereafter referred to as Joint Pavilion). The Joint Pavilion featured a range of innovative Korean medical device technologies, from consumables like adipose stem cell collection kits to AI-based digital therapeutics (DTx), including solutions designed for social skills training.
Companies participating in the Joint Pavilion secured business opportunities through product demonstrations and pitching sessions with global buyers, export negotiations with European distributors, and discussions on technological collaboration with 바카라사이트 유니벳 institutions. Notably, participating companies, including Nanum Company, Neudive, Medikors, MediKina Bio, Beyond Medicine, SOFNT, AlphaAI, Exosystems, LDS, OSSGEN, CoTras, and Pervice Korea, conducted a total of 477 consultations and secured export contracts valued at USD 11.84 million (approximately KRW 17.4 billion).
The German 바카라사이트 유니벳 device market is the largest in Europe and the third largest globally, following the United States and China. Since 2022, KMEDIhub has operated a joint pavilion at MEDICA, serving as a strategic bridgehead for Korean companies seeking to enter the European market. KMEDIhub mentioned that the joint pavilion has facilitated approximately 1,500 consultations and export contracts worth USD 19.3 million, helping to showcase the excellence of Korean companies and support their growth.
According to KMEDIhub, companies participating in the joint pavilion have opened export markets in multiple European countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, entering a regional medical device market valued at USD 172.7 billion last year. Notably, the European Union (EU) has entered a ‘super-aging society,’ with more than 20% of its population aged 65 and over, a demographic shift expected to drive growth in the digital healthcare industry, including telemedicine, digital therapeutics, and rehabilitation devices.
"We will continue to actively support innovative Korean medical device companies so they can gain recognition for their technological competitiveness in the global market and establish a solid foundation for overseas expansion," said Park Gu-seon, Chairman of KMEDIhub.
Conversely, this year’s MEDICA drew participation from 5,300 global companies representing 70 countries. The exhibition highlighted cutting-edge medical technologies across diverse sectors, including imaging and diagnostic equipment, orthopedic and rehabilitation devices, information technology (IT) systems and solutions, and medical services. In addition, KMEDIhub is working to support the global expansion of Korean medical device companies by operating joint pavilions at major international medical exhibitions in Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Vietnam.
