[by Ji, Yong Jun] Made Scientific, the U.S. subsidiary of GC, announced on August 20 that it officially opened its 신규 바카라사이트 60,000-square-foot (approximately 5,570 m2) Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing plant and U.S. headquarters in Princeton Borough, 신규 바카라사이트 Jersey, with an opening ceremony held on August 13 (local time).
Made Scientific, a U.S.-based cell therapy contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), was jointly acquired by 신규 바카라사이트 and 신규 바카라사이트 Cell in May 2022. Since then, the company has been bolstering its capabilities to advance the commercialization of global cell therapies, with ongoing investment in infrastructure, talent, processes, and systems.
The opening ceremony brought together key state and local officials, including 신규 바카라사이트 Jersey Labor Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo, State Representative Tennille McCoy, Plainsboro Mayor Edmund Yates, Middlesex County Council Chairman Ronald Rios, 신규 바카라사이트 Jersey Institute of Technology President Teik Lim. GC leadership also attended, with GC Chairman Huh Il-sup, GC CEO Huh Yong-jun, and GC CFO Huh Jin-seong representing the company.
In addition, representatives from the offices of U.S. Senator Andy Kim and Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman took part in the event, presenting a commemorative proclamation. The ceremony also saw the participation of federal, state, and local government officials.
The 신규 바카라사이트 facility marks the first stage of a USD 12 million investment encompassing facility upgrades, advanced equipment, and the digitization of business operations. With this development, Made Scientific has established end-to-end production capabilities, covering the entire cycle, from clinical trials to full-scale commercialization, in the fast-growing cell therapy market. The company also unveiled plans for a second phase of expansion, which will include the recruitment of more than 100 additional professionals and an increase in annual production capacity to up to 2,000 batches.
The 신규 바카라사이트 site is equipped with five ISO 7 (Grade B) cleanrooms, an in-house quality control (QC) laboratory, and dedicated process and analytical development capabilities. It also incorporates advanced digital management systems, including Oracle NetSuite (ERP), Veeva Systems (QMS), Autolomous AutoloMATE (MES), and LabVantage (LIMS), allowing for real-time, integrated oversight across the full spectrum of operations, from product development to manufacturing and quality control.
At the event, Made Scientific also revealed plans to expand its GMP cleanroom to approximately 1,200 m2, designed to comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Union (Annex 1) standards. The upgraded facility will integrate high-speed, automated production technologies, positioning the Princeton headquarters as a center of ex신규 바카라사이트ence for clinical and commercial supply of 신규 바카라사이트 therapy products once the expansion is complete.
